Not an area I've bothered to look into much before but in theory thinner oils might reduce internal friction enough to affect power and therefore possibly fuel consumption. I've never considered it to be likely that the effects are going to be big enough to be noticeable between ...

Is there any particular wheel order that one should follow when bleeding a brake system. Should one start closest to the master cylinder then progress further away... or the other way around? thanx

I'm about to fit a new set of front disks & pads (well when it stops pissing down) and read that copper grease should not be used on the sliding calliper pins. I have a tube of Servisol Silicone Grease and wondered if that is ok to use on the pins or should I use something else? ...

I have a small leak in a 1993 Pajero 4x4 -diesel's fuel pump. Probably due to the age of the rubbers etc and I was wondering if there is any liquid I can place in the fuel to try and revitalise the seals in the pump. Its not that bad but wondered before I get a fuel pump rebuild ...
