Cleaning spark plugs17 Jun 2007 21:13 GMT19
I have seen some people cleaning spark plugs with a little wire brush and
wondered what this does to them?
I thought plugs should just be replaced with new ones when nescesary, which
is what I do.
Wheel Alignment./.steering problem17 Jun 2007 19:50 GMT11
I have a 200 VW Polo (1.4TDi). About a week ago the steering warning
light came on and the steering became very 'light'. I swithced off the
engine, started it up again and everything was normal.
As it was due for it's annual service, I mentioned it to the VW Garage

position after I changed it.

BMW 320 Diesel16 Jun 2007 23:57 GMT3
I will soon be getting rid of my J reg 318 estate and I want a 320
diesel estate. 330 would be nice but there don't seem to be that many
and they are pricey. I understand that the engine changed around 2002
and it is better to get a newer one.
MK2 Mondeo ABS issue.15 Jun 2007 23:35 GMT1
Parents MK2 Mondeo has an interesting intermittent fault.
Occassionally the airbag, ABS and low brake/handbrake warning lights
will all stay on once you've started the car. It's hit and miss as to
when it happens and there appears to be no pattern. Are these lights

Pneumatic 'hiss' when changing gear - what is it?15 Jun 2007 11:38 GMT9
I've noticed that some cars (mainly modified hot hatches) emit a
pneumatic sounding 'hiss' when the driver changes gear. Just curious
as to what causes this - some sort of air assisted clutch / gear shift
modification?
still no pipeline card15 Jun 2007 10:42 GMT9
2 years on and still no Pipeline Card, no progress, no negotiations, no
discounts!
No one seems to want to speak to the organisers.
I thought it was too good to be true at the time but loads of people signed

Starter Motor spontaneously engaging on Mondeo14 Jun 2007 18:38 GMT1
I have a 52 reg 1.8LX Mondeo, 95,000 on the clock.
The other day, waiting to pull out on to a main road with engine
ticking over, what sounded like the starter motor trying to engage
happened. It sounded awful.

Mondeo 1996 Si V6 ABS14 Jun 2007 09:45 GMT3
ABS light came on this morning whilst driving and seems to do it when I get
up to a certain speed. Discs and pads have recently been replaced and brakes
seem to work fine. Any ideas what it could be and is it safe to drive?
TIA
