I just totalled my Fiat Stilo TDi, and I need a replacement.
Recommendations or comments would be appreciated -
Need 4drs, prefer hatch, must be tdi with good power & economy.  Budget
£2-5k.   Not status conscious, so happy to buy tidy but unappreciated models

I'm told that there if I take my car abroad for a few months there is a need
to let the government of the country I'm visiting that that my car is not
intending to stay there permanently and by so doing I will not have to pay
any duty on it.

Wheel Alignment (tracking) vs Wheel Balancing07 Jul 2007 21:07 GMT1

How does each one manifest itself in terms of tyre wear / fuel

What are the characteristics that may be noticed when driving (e.g.
I've looked at the manual...........07 Jul 2007 15:00 GMT4
Here.  http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_820.htm
Nothing in here says that the windscreen wipers need to srlf park.  My
Brava's wiper motor has lost the self park function and it's MOT is due so
it looks like it will still pass.  What does the panel think?
Extended MOT07 Jul 2007 14:04 GMT2
In the old days, before the new computerised MOT system was introduced
you could get a 13 month MOT certificate, providing of course your
vehicle passed and you still had one month MOT left before it expired.
Does this option still apply?
Fiat Punto ignition lock barrel06 Jul 2007 22:24 GMT3
My son's girlfriend has a 97 Punto 1.2
Yesterday she had a problem where the key wouldn't turn in the ignition.
A nearby garage had a quick look (free of charge bless them) and said
that the part of the barrel which disengages the steering lock is
Autocentre, Queens Hill, Newport - AVOID AT ALL COST !!!06 Jul 2007 19:52 GMT4
A bigger bunch of idiots you will not meet...

Paging ZXisti06 Jul 2007 15:36 GMT8
