| Focus 1600 petrol Zetec engine (2001) idle and performance issues | 12 Oct 2007 17:10 GMT | 16 |
A few months back the engine developed a fault where the idle was rough/hunting rhythmically, and then the idle would either intermittantly stick high after releasing the accellerator, or cut out, the latter especially after a high speed run.

| MoT duration? | 12 Oct 2007 00:41 GMT | 3 |
I recently saw some documentation for a car that I won't be buying, but what struck me as odd were the MoT documents. Several of these were for about a year and a few days. So if they started on 30th of September 2005, they finished on the October the 7th 2006 - which struck me as a ...

| Corsa windscreen tint? | 10 Oct 2007 16:30 GMT | 4 |
My wife's newish Corsa 1.3 TDi has a cracked windscreen (stone-caused, apparently). The insurance chap asked whether it was a green or purple tinted glass. ("We can only replace exact like with like.") Neither of us can confidently say which - it's a *very* faint tint. So we've
