Rover 3.931 Jan 2008 23:16 GMT3
I'm told many of these engines suffer from coolant leaks past the liners.
Is there a DIY test for this on a stripped engine or any other way to tell?

I recently bought a Citroen ZX 1.9TD and as it was very dificult to

Question - car technology31 Jan 2008 20:01 GMT32
On a modern car there are many controls on the steering wheel (radio,
cruise, phone) as well as airbag controls - how are the connections made
between the rotating shaft and the fixed part of the car? Is it by using
remote control type of technology?
Non-standard Car Radio Connector in 1998 Mondeo?31 Jan 2008 11:39 GMT3
I still have the original factory radio-cassette player which I want
to replace with a radio-cd player, which is kind of sad as the factory
radio is very good. Anyway taking advantage of a Halfords offer to
install the radio free I went down to their shop.
Is this windscreen scratch an MOT failure?31 Jan 2008 09:54 GMT3
Just had the MOT. It failed on 8.3.1a and 8.3.1d, because of wiper blade

charge battery while battery still connected?30 Jan 2008 20:25 GMT25
Just would like to know if it is ok to charge a car battery while the
battery is still connected in the car. (Engine and all switchable
electrics off).  Is the output wave of the charger likely to zap the
car electronics?
Fiesta - 2001 model30 Jan 2008 14:40 GMT1
I've got a 2001 X Reg fiesta, and have a leak in the boot. I've had a
look at the rear bumper and can only see the self taper's at the wheel
arch. Could someone let me know where the other fixings are so I can
remove the bumper and hopefully see where the water is getting in.

Immobiliser on 1996 Discovery29 Jan 2008 17:21 GMT2
The immobiliser on my 1996 Discovery is being very temperamental. It
