Spraying this time of year10 Jan 2008 17:34 GMT3
Im thinking of spraying my car in good old fashioned cellulose, this would
be inside a barn to protect it from the elements, but humidity is high this
time of year (my humidity gauge is showing 70%-80% ) Does this matter?? as
dehumidifying a barn is not an option should I wait ...
Plastic repairs10 Jan 2008 17:34 GMT7
I've got a couple of bits for my MK2 Golf that could do with fixing - an
arch spat with a crack in it near the bottom (£46 plus the dreaded!?!), and
a couple of sill covers with bits and bobs of broken fixings and the like
(they're one of these lovely setups with loads of clips).

New Focus arriving, old focus price reduction?10 Jan 2008 09:02 GMT14
Saw a review of the new Focus in a sunday rag.  As most peeps
will want the new one rather than the old one, is it likely that I
(who am quite satisfied with the old one) can go to my local
friendly Ford dealer and get a new / quite new example of the
2001 Focus 1.6 Zetec-S engine HT Leads09 Jan 2008 21:28 GMT12
I'm going to replace the HT leads soon on my Focus. Is it wise to stick with

Uneven brake wear09 Jan 2008 14:50 GMT6
A few weeks ago the front brakes started rumbling under braking. I got
the front offside wheel off but both pads still had 5mm left. I then
took it for it's MoT and it nearly failed on worn brake pads so I bought
some and fitted them when I got home. The nearside pads where only ...
Steering problem! Please help!09 Jan 2008 13:30 GMT11
Just wondering if anyone can help me with this?  I just bought a year
old Vauxhall Astra SRi (15k miles) and have a bit of an issue with the
steering.  Basically the steering wheel seems to 'wobble' around a lot
whenever I run over a small dip/pot hole or even with slight cambers

Clio immobiliser09 Jan 2008 10:01 GMT5
My son bought a Renault Clio 1.2 some weeks back, assuming he would pass
his test first time. He didn't, nor the second, and the Clio sits there
looking unloved. I try to give it a short run every week or so, but I'm a
bit confused about the immobiliser system. We can unlock the car ...

The N/S front tyre wear is even.
