Oil leak and cam belt contamination - Golf08 Jan 2008 20:33 GMT5
My '94 Golf 1.8 petrol (Mk 3) has been leaking oil over the last couple of
weeks, and I got a chap to have a look at it today. He thinks the problem
is behind the the cam belts covers, on the left of the engine as you look
at it.
Spark Plug Contamination08 Jan 2008 19:09 GMT3
Hello group,
I have a Ford Escort 16v 1.6 Zetec, year 1999. There's 65000 miles on the
clock, not much going by the year of registration. It's been regularly
serviced since I owned it for the past two years, but before that the

Hello all, my Mondeo has very little cabin heating. Thought it might be
a blocked pollen filter, had a look - NO pollen filter! Could this mean
than the air flow through the matrix is too high - so no heating, or is
it likely that the lack of a filter means that the air ways in the

light bulb.
Micra K11 Stalling08 Jan 2008 07:03 GMT14
Have a problem with a 2001 Nissan K11 Micra.  Stalls at random times.
Can be driving along with 2 to 3k revs and it cuts out.  Can be
sitting there idling and cuts out.  Does not seem to misfire before
stopping.  Feels just like fuel running out.

Seat Leon rear trim removal07 Jan 2008 21:53 GMT7
Hi, New to the site!
Have looked around to see if this had already been asked but no joy! I'm
trying to remove the interior trim from the boot door, so that I can get at
the wiper mechanism (water hose has become loose & leaking). I have now

Does anybody know where they put the sensor for external air temperature
readouts?
The work van has one and I'd like to add one to the car.

Thanks.
Changing wishbones on VX Omega ? EASY ?07 Jan 2008 19:42 GMT5
I have a V plate Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 Saloon.  I have been advised
that the wishbone bush on passenger side (the large doughnut shaped

I believe that its easier to get a wishbone and have that done (rather
airbag disarming and rear facing infant carseats in front07 Jan 2008 09:27 GMT8
some cars have an option to disarm the airbag if a child is seated
front, or if an infant is in a carseat in front.
some cars dont have this as standard, but this disarm switch is an
extra.
Citroen ZX Glow Plugs07 Jan 2008 08:27 GMT9
Cross posted to .mods as I know quite a few people on there have had 306s
and the like.
The glow plugs on the ZX seem to have stopped glowing. I've managed to
change the third one, but all the others are behind something else - 1 and 2
Rear indicators05 Jan 2008 00:21 GMT6

motorway today with US style flashing brake lights instead of dedicated
orange indicators.
