New Wiper Motor?15 Feb 2008 10:11 GMT3
I have an 8 year old Peugeot 406 and the wipers no longer park at the
bottom, After using the wipers I have to flick the stalk control to try and
get the wipers to sit at the bottom of the screen. I have changed the relay
and the problem is still there, I've been told I need a ...

Future developments in cars14 Feb 2008 20:45 GMT31
I believe that the traditional car starter motor will disappear soon - to be
replaced with an alternator which can also act as a starter through the
drive belt. Imagine the cost savings - no need for gear teeth on the
flywheel, less copper, less noise, less assembly. etc.
BMW 320D 2001 Brake ?14 Feb 2008 13:33 GMT11
Offside front brake was binding, removed the pads pressed the brake
pedal and gentle squeezed the piston out to expose the corroded/worn
area, cleaned it up with wet/dry paper, WD40 etc and it operated
freely, no problems for 2 weeks, now it is starting to bind again,
noisy Rover 2513 Feb 2008 23:33 GMT4
I currently have a Rover 25 with the tiny 1.1 litre K-series engine, and
I hate it! The engine is so noisy and it's like there's hardly any
soundproofing. Is there anything I can do to make it quieter? Any sort
of sound insulation I can do? Road noise on a lot of surfaces is bad ...
Toyota car models and could this be the reason why U.S. Car sales are     falling?13 Feb 2008 22:29 GMT7
Does any one know why Toyota changes model styles every two years??
Toyota always seems to be a step ahead of the game. I own a parts
company and for years the Toyota models have changed for almost every
model for every two year periods. For instance almost every Camry

Fiesta S reg (1998) Endura 1.3 Sump replacement.13 Feb 2008 20:47 GMT5
I've got a Fiesta S reg (1998) with the 1.3 Endura engine  which has
started leaking oil from the sump (badly corroded at the front,
suspect all the grit / stones chucked up from the road has hastened
its demise)

4 seater pick up - opinions12 Feb 2008 21:42 GMT12
Right then, we wanted a new Multipla but Fiat dealers are frankly putting me
off buying from them so I am looking at other alternatives and thinking
about a pick up with 2 rows of seats (crew cab?).
We really just need something that will carry 3 people, a dog and a fair bit
Rusty sunroof.12 Feb 2008 10:38 GMT13
A couple of rust spots have come through the 4 year old paint on my SD1
on the sunroof outer skin. Good secondhand ones are rare. I don't fancy my
chances cutting out and letting in new metal on a panel that flat - and
the frame of the roof is very close to the skin. The paint ...
03 Fiesta leaking12 Feb 2008 00:21 GMT18
I have an 03 5 door Fiesta, and the rear passenger footwell is full of water
on the drivers side.  I have checked the seals on both doors on that side,
and they seem OK.  I had a look at it tonight (it's raining), and cannot
feel any wetness around the doors.  Is there anywhere else ...

Anyone know what would cause the tailgate stop light to stop working,
all the led's are out. The main stop lights are ok, as is their fuse.
