Keyless entry - Laguna31 Mar 2008 21:59 GMT13

frequently charging the battery as he claims he wouldn't know how to get in
the car if the battery failed as there are no keys.
Any suggestions?
Mini ran fine month ago now wont startup31 Mar 2008 19:53 GMT17
20 year old austin mini hasn't been started for a month. It ran fine then,
but now doesn't want to fire up.
There was plenty of life in the battery, so we gave it a good hammering with
the choke out then pushed it in half way to prevent flooding.  Still no joy.
Vauxhall Meriva CV Boot31 Mar 2008 18:29 GMT3
I noticed today that the CV boot on my Meriva appeared to detach
itself from the Hub side when on full lock. There doesn't appear to be
a securing strap this end, but only on the driveshaft end. The boot
appears to seat again when going off full lock. I am concerned as
VW Golf MK4 - Slow seizing windscreen wipers - Tips for cowl removal please?31 Mar 2008 08:31 GMT5
From reading forums on the Internet, I gather that seizing and slowing
front wipers on my 'S' registration VW Golf Mk4 TDI are common and
usually down to water ingress in a bush through which a wiper support
spindle passes causing rust and seizure.
Vauxhall Corsa (2000); Key cutting/coding...30 Mar 2008 22:51 GMT2
I've bought a Corsa (2000 model) for my daughter.  It came with one key.
When I went to get it cut, the key place said it was a coded immobiliser
key and they couldn't do anything apart from copy the key blank.
I've looked at the key and there's an evident crack in it... sooner or
Which oil burner has fewer faults...30 Mar 2008 01:03 GMT11
I'm looking for another car to do my long weekend drives and commuting, need
plenty of space (also considering a van) but I'm willing to sacrifice style
and refinement for economy (to some degree!) and would like it to be
relatively cheap to insure. I've been looking around at the ...
Oil change 5k29 Mar 2008 23:21 GMT9
mk4 golf 1.6
Was advised by my local specialist I should change the oil every 5k even
though the manual says 10k. I pointed this out to his and he said thats
correct but a good oil change means the world for the engine and can help
Ford Fiesta prone to rust?29 Mar 2008 19:11 GMT7
Does anyone know if Mark III onwards Fiesta's are prone to corrosion? I
thought they would be galvanised. Or is it usual for a car of that age?
Halfords Oil Filter29 Mar 2008 15:35 GMT25
Never used their own brand before. Just like to get a few opinions before I
stick it on my old Sierra (1.8cvh). If folk have had bad experiences I will
go and get a different one. BTW, Catford Halford's tried to charge me £22
for a £3.99 oil filter and a £9.29 air filter. Then ...

apparent way to remove the trim while hatch is closed, to get at the lock.
Any suggestions please, will destroying the trim from the inside ...

I can't seen to find any workshop manuals in the UK for the Mk2 Ford

"Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding a Service and Repair Manual
for your vehicle. Unfortunately, we do not produce a Manual for this
