BMW e30 central locking goosed18 Mar 2008 21:31 GMT3
I have a 320i touring with no central locking. I have changed the big
relay down in the footwell, but no joy.
What is the checklist for checking central locking electrics. Besides
the fuse what other relays are there or other points of failure?

Hysterical Laughter aside...18 Mar 2008 20:41 GMT4
Where can I find a workshop manual for a 2.2 Sintra (ducks) and any tips
on what might cause the clutch pedal to not return on its own. Clutch is
fine as manually pulling the pedal back up will engage the clutch and it
drives just fine. Please be gentle.
Not charging ..18 Mar 2008 20:27 GMT9
I did ask the other day if anyone had any ideas why my 93 218SD might
not be charging (again) but I'm not sure if it got through.
Anyway, recon alternator, ignition light won't go out and rev counter
doesn't work.
MOT advisory question18 Mar 2008 16:30 GMT46
My car's just failed the MOT & the garage is going to rectify the failure &
retest. There were also some advisories (front brake pads, discs & bad earth
on rear light), which I've rectified myself. When they retest & issue a
certificate, can these advisories be removed from the new ...

Wheel bearings, is there more to it...17 Mar 2008 09:54 GMT6

I replaced a bearing the other week and manage to make a bollocks of it (or
at least I thought) by allowing the races to come apart and then tightening
up.
BMW e30 electrics - 2 questions16 Mar 2008 19:26 GMT4
HI, I recently bought an e30 touring 320i, and have a couple of
electrical problems to sort.
1. My rear wiper doesn't work (washer does) and I'm a dunce at auto
electrics. How do I test whether there's power getting to the motor?
Vectra door speakers.16 Mar 2008 17:46 GMT1
In the nearside front door of my 99 Vectra,  the speaker is 'fizzing'
badly,  may need replacing.  What sort of job is it to remove door
lining,  etc,  and fit replacement speakers,  maybe better speakers
than original?  Never had to do this before. Any advice much
Brake disc vibration?16 Mar 2008 11:34 GMT3
The day after new front brake disks were fitted, I feel vibrations in the
steering from around 65mph. I am definitely sure of that since I drive
motorway every day. Is there any way you can balance the brake disks, do
they need balancing? The disks are original Saab parts.
