I have an E46 that had the differential oil changed; unfortunately it was not filled up to the right capacity and now needs to be topped up by about 450ml of extra oil! I do not have the original oil with which it was initially used (Amsoil SVG 75w90) but have Castrol XO 75W90 ...

A couple of weeks ago I had a new set of injectors fitted to my Focus 2.0 TDCi under warranty. This was to cure an odd warm start problem and it seems to have done that. Now I seem to be getting a pronounced but brief knocking while

My 405 1.9 TD struggles to turn over when cold. It's strange. The battery is only 2 years old and is fully charged. If the car has been used within 6 hours then it turns over sharply and starts immediately. But if left overnight and frosty in the morning, then it cannot turn

What is it with Ford does the fiesta have a self destruct when it reaches 75000 miles? I've had problems with missing number 4 cylinder that turn out to be the coil.

| Help - engine cuts out when lights are turned on! | 04 Mar 2008 10:53 GMT | 5 |
I bought a 2003 Astra diesel (1.7 CDTi) a week or so ago and have got a strange problem with it. When driving along, if you turn the headlights (or sidelights) on, the engine cuts out for several seconds as if you'd taken your foot completely

The hatch on my 02 Mondeo occasionally gets stuck and the central locking doesn't emit ints usual clunk in the region of the boot. Presumably this is an electrical problem. Before I have a go at it with screwdrivers etc, has anyone else had the
