Best car wash brush for Karcher Pressure Washer18 May 2008 21:36 GMT3
Just spent an hour washing the car twice because the wash brush that
came with the pressure washer is rubbish and ended up washing it again
by hand with a bucket and sponge.  Anybody suggest a better wash brush
for doing the car?  Been looking at those rotary ones in Halfords, but
How much would people on this newsgroup be prepared to pay for a gallon of fuel?18 May 2008 18:57 GMT190
A few short months ago the prospect of diesel fuel breaking through the

Repairing a load liner17 May 2008 11:40 GMT18
The load liner for my  406 estate has a couple of holes / cracks in it. I'd
like to seal them up, but whatever I use needs to be flexible as the thing
needs to bend to actually get in through the tailgate, and a few of the
cracks in it are from the bending. My first thoughts are ...
Speedometer reading going crazy16 May 2008 08:01 GMT5
The speedo on my Peugeot 406 has been acting up, giving
inaccurate readings. On starting out it remains at 0mph for a
mile or two and then behaves properly for a while. Then it
either wavers about up or down, or it remains at 30mph or so

Friend of mine's Honda CV-R 2.2 diesel has just blown up and need a new

A while back I decided to build a hydrogen generator to help save
money on my fuel bill. My ex-husband had built one and installed it on
his car and was saving a ton of money. His fuel mileage had doubled!

job to change and would appreciate a heads up from those that know.
Hopefully its like my Sierra which just has four posi bolts ...
Just blagged a freebie fix courtesy of Kwikfit.14 May 2008 21:14 GMT22
My aircon has been a bit weak but usuable, but the last few hot days
have been silly.
So I went in for their £44 regas, and if doesn't drop 10% no charge.
Took a reading, nearly 30degrees celsius. Not good.
