My daughter has a 1.6 Street Ka on a 54 plate. Recently, she got an engine
warning light come up, so took it to a main Ford agent to get it checked.
For 45 quid, they have told her that the cat is faulty and needs to be
replaced. They have quoted her £690 to do this. She has ...

The indicators (or as Peugeot like to call them, the Com 2000 (comm?) unit)

the peugeots of a certain era.
Now, Peugeot want £150 for a set. Breakers want £90 for a set. There's a

Anyone know how to remove the speedo head from the C5, it's packed in

Hi, does anyone have a colour coded wiring diagram for the 106 XND.
Previous owner had changed the wiring plugs for the radio and then
removed his radio so I have to rewire in new plugs before fitting my
own radio.

I am shortly going to have to replace the rusty sump on my 1998 1.3

car and I wondered whether anyone has tackled this job recently? I
have had quick look at the access and it looks fairly tight but not

'04 Ford Focus Cmax
Got the Focus a few months back, when I noticed that there was quite a
bad wobble through the steering wheel when applying the brakes.  No
big deal me thinks, just a pair of warped discs.  So I change the

Maplin have got an impact driver on special offer for 20 quid. Runs off
the car battery. Max torque 250 ft.lb. 1/2" square drive. Seems well made
and robust. It certainly works ok.

MOT testers and underseal16 Jun 2008 20:42 GMT5
Are MOT testers supposed to replace any underseal they scrape off? The last
one to do the ZX seems to have scraped off all the underseal within at least
3 inches of anything that looked even mildly rope, which seems a bit much.

An elderly friend has just had some fitted by the Honda dealer and he tells
me (he lives miles away) he can't hear the sound very well.
CLK55 asthmatic and underwhelming16 Jun 2008 10:55 GMT10
2001 car, recently serviced.  Normally, putting my foot down at say 60MPH,
results in a massive surge of acceleration, with a hearty shove in the back.
Yesterday I went to pick someone up from the airport, and when I kickdown at
such speed, it is noticeably less powerful, and ...
