Well, never let it be said by anyone that if nothing else, I am not at least
honest.  All of the good people on here who had their doubts as to whether a
re-shelling of the big ends was going to get it a few more month's life,
were right. It hasn't lasted and is back knocking ...

Replacement Low Beam Bulb for Mazda 630 Sep 2008 07:52 GMT5
I have googled this and notice that it seems a right fanny of a job.

I had four tyres (Firestone CV3000) fitted to my van by ATS a few months
ago. Its a big thing VW LT35 and on one tyre the valve is short and looks
like a car valve to me. This tyre also went down from 60 to 50psi from July
to Sept and I suspect the valve. My old tyres never lost ...
MOT result - any explanation plse28 Sep 2008 16:39 GMT10
My Rover 200 passed the MOT today but I'm interested in the emissions result.
Last year the Natural Idle test was run at 874rpm and returned a CO figure of

Remove Scenic boot trim?28 Sep 2008 14:44 GMT3
The boot release button on our Renault Scenic (2002) has fallen out.
This seems to be a well known design feature where it is retained by a
rubber o ring ... that perishes and then releases the button!
Anyway, I've had a quick go at removing the boot trim so I can
Rover 214 Occasional Intermittent Misfire28 Sep 2008 12:49 GMT3
Hello Group,
I've been having an occasional misfire recently. It doesn't happen on
every journey, but when it does it's like a learner kangaroo-hopping,
and just  lasts a couple of seconds.
Mr.Clutch?26 Sep 2008 06:41 GMT41
I would be grateful if anybody would share their experiences of Mr. Clutch,
good or bad. My stepson put his Audi A6 in for a replacement clutch, having
been quoted £350 for the job. Unfortunately, once the gearbox was removed
the price rose to £1000 as it supposedly needs an new ...
