I wonder if you could help settle an argument between my wife and I (at least this one is related to cars!). She drives with her left foot covering the clutch and says that she was taught this technique as the correct way to drive and it helps her

Me again, Now I have cured the misfire with the help of you chaps, I now want to lower my warm tickover. It generally sits at 1000 but does occasionally oblige by dropping to 800. These are figures used by the cars rev counter, but seem to be fairly consistant. I have pulled ...

The other day I did an oil change on my 406. The nice people who did my clutch replaced some of the quick release fasteners for the undertray with nuts and bolts. The end result was that the job took longer than I was expecting, so when I needed to pick my gilfriend up from work, ...

| Older Vauxhall Diesels | 01 Jul 2009 20:30 GMT | 5 |
Currently looking around for an older Vauxhall diesel ( 1997 - 2001 ) and in my occasionally faulty mind I seem to recall hearing (long ago) that they were fitted with either an Isuzu engine or ???.
