| IMprove cornering on ML 350? | 29 Aug 2004 11:19 GMT | 69 |
I have a MB ML 350 and was wondering if anyone had (or could suggest routes to) reducing body roll in corners. I have seen shorter, harder springs available online for this car but is this sufficient? Would I needs new shocks or an anti roll bar etc? Or is it a case of the more I ...

Hasn't got the same "Woosh, Ohmygod...." factor of the Saab, but the seats seem to suit me better, and it is loverly and smooth. Tax until end of December, MOT until june, no body damage, no rust, paint good except looks like a couple of supermarket carpark scrape type

| Right then, what's for sale? | 27 Aug 2004 15:33 GMT | 46 |
G reg 4x4 has gone, leaving me with the D reg and the Capri. As the Capri is dead, we'll forget about that for now. As we all know, it's typical that whenever you go looking for a car, there's nothing good about. As soon as you actually buy one, loads of bargains come

| Nissan 350Z | 27 Aug 2004 11:13 GMT | 22 |
I see a lot of 350Z's round here. Their exhaust note is quite howly, bit like an F360 Modena. They obviously "tuned" the exhaust to sound like this and it has nothing to do with the engine plumbed in at the other end. Anybody else noticed the noise the 350Z makes? I think they ...

| Modding the slushotronic. | 25 Aug 2004 09:27 GMT | 33 |
My automatic 12 valve vauxhall has a stupidly long 1st gear and a stupidly high top speed for a man who lives a long way from the nearest stretch of motorway let alone Autobahn. Its not very quick off the mark. Anyone know anything much about making Autos sportier? Ideally it ...

| Fiesta IB5 Gear Ratios | 24 Aug 2004 19:11 GMT | 2 |
Does anybody happen to know the internal gear ratios and final drives used for the mark four Fiesta? I'm quite certain that there were three final drives used, the 3.59, 3.82 and 4.06, but I don't know the internal ratios... may well be in the Haynes

| http://www.privilege.com/ - Have they gone mad ? | 23 Aug 2004 08:56 GMT | 8 |
Anyone seen the current TV ads for Privilege ? They guarantee to beat ALL renewal quotes with at least 4 years no-claims. "Yeah, right" I thought - so I went to the site thinking it'd obviously be too good to be true. They quote me a mere £420 on the TI - a clear £200

If anyone fancies learning how to drift their car, www.motorsport-events.co.uk have just mailed out adverts for a drift club day with tuition at Heyford for £75. This is about getting the car sideways and keeping it there, I think, never
