| Diseasel | 31 Aug 2005 12:03 GMT | 9 |
Hired one this weekend, I didn't have a lot of choice, almost all hire cars in Italy are diseasels. I got the new Astra, not actually my choice but all that was available at short notice. First impressions good, nicely nailed together, had an Opel badge so it

| Launch technique? | 31 Aug 2005 09:25 GMT | 252 |

| How does this work then? | 31 Aug 2005 06:49 GMT | 6 |
How can you measure the proper width of a wheel and tyre combination given the tyre size and rim width? Is say a 185/60 on a 5.5J rim going to be wider than a 165/65 on the same wheel? Well, yeah, 'cos the 185 width tyre bulges.

| Software remap | 29 Aug 2005 09:14 GMT | 9 |
Hypothetically, say I've had my engine management remapped but no other mods, do you reckon your average dealer will notice when it comes to servicing time? I'm talking about a remap via the car's data port BTW, not a chip swap so there are no replacement parts at all...
