| Bye bye Clio | 28 Aug 2005 14:03 GMT | 3 |
Before I even got you :( Renault are no longer on our manufacturer's list, so I can't have the 182. I've had a bit of a think and have decided that a 3 door supermini is too small for my needs anyway. Looks like I'll be back to a Vauxhall then, probably the new shape Astra.

Do you want a stealth shelf? It's got a pair of Alpine 6939s in it and sounds nice.

| What to do with the Golf? | 27 Aug 2005 20:18 GMT | 19 |
My 8V is looking rather lovely, having been polished up and so on. Runs perfect, goes like stink, needs the suspension fettling but is a bloody good car. However, I'm moving to Sheffield soon, which is making me worry about the

What Alfas have you owned? What has been your experience as far as breakdowns and problems go with the Alfas you have owned? How expensive are the spare parts? What's the insurance like?

| What shall I do | 27 Aug 2005 16:14 GMT | 126 |
Considering another car, for fun (including rallying) after the XR goes.... 3 basic options, although I'm thinking of more each day: 1. Pug 205 XS/TD/GTi - cheap and cheerful. Quick and well setup out of the box and I understand them. Cost £400

| X flow head? | 27 Aug 2005 10:14 GMT | 95 |
I was researching gains on fitting twin 45s onto the gti and it was mentioned than an "X Flow head" is by far the best option because the carbs are mouted staight infront of the oncomming air flow. What cars where fitted with the X flow I need?

| might have to part with the MR2! | 27 Aug 2005 09:22 GMT | 35 |
been thinking about this a lot. want to move out one day but right now it's very unlikely if i carry on running the MR2. it's costing me around £2-3k a year when you take the cost of insurance, tax, stupid 3k mile oil changes (can't get the free oil off work anymore as my ...

So. Kawasaki ZZR600. I had a play on one. Good bike for a beginner? Also: Found a Morris Minor with a year's MOT for £450 today - anyone care to take a guess what it was like?

| Slow flashing bright LED | 26 Aug 2005 22:45 GMT | 13 |
I'm looking for a self contained slow flashing bright 5mm LED. 50% duty cycle ones are common, but I'd like something like one flash per 10 - or more - seconds, to cut down power consumption. No space in the housing to add electronics, so it has to be an all in one. 12 volts, ...

| Modifications you have made? | 26 Aug 2005 21:17 GMT | 85 |
I have only made a few posts in here. One of my posts was about modifying a car, when I eventually buy one. And I was saying about some of the things I would like to do to a car especially on the interior with fitting LCDs for DVD and television

| Likely Classics | 25 Aug 2005 23:01 GMT | 1 |
Yesterday I was watching some re-runs of Top Gear on UK TV on SKY. They were extracting the urine from JC about the rare cars he has previously bought, paid good money for, sold at a loss, which, have then gone on to become classics and worth double and more what he paid
