DVLA sent my licence back leaving me £50 f.cking quid lighter! still now i
can get me BMW sorted out as they need id for the finance stuff!

How would I work out the BHP being used to maintain a car's speed? e.g. a
1000kg car at 70mph on the level, how much BHP at the wheels?
And, although it would be very approximate, could I calculate torque by
looking at acceleration timings in each gear?

Thinking of doing a transplant to the Capri.
Something reasonably reliable, but with around 200 bhp would be nice
Thoughts at the moment are either 24v Cossie or Rover V8.
The Rover wins on weight and soundtrack, but the Cossie wins on the fact
