Took a little drive up a local big cliff top car park, much fun was had - along with the other 5 or 6 cars there doing the same thing. Surprise of the day was the people carrier coming in, complete with bearded driver and complete family, having a 15 minute handbrake turn session! ...

Got me a 2.3i 8v to slot in the Volvo :) Its not gonna set the road on fire (140bhp and 140 ft lbs), but it's cheap, easy and better than the standard 120bhp!!

Had some interest in the Saab. No money down yet, but definate firm interest, so, I'm probably going either small or sensible this time time for definate. Maybe something with modding potential later.

I got myself a new car as well, replacing the 1.4 Tdi polo I have decided to keep with the "sensible" tdi option and got an Ibiza FR 1.9tdi (only 131 PS).

Looking into getting one or the other, fancy a big roomy car, fast, with full leather interior, nicely specced & still under manufacturers warranty (car about 2 - 2.5 yr old) these seem ideal, cost £20K + when new and now go for a song.

Ok, here's how my driving history goes: Passed at 17, got a car straight away. Crashed it at 18 but never claimed. Stopped driving while at Uni and drove mum's car for a couple of months when I got back.
