what is the likelyhood of a car slipping a tooth on the timing belt ? and would the above cause said car to cut out and then refuse to start? I think i may have a solution to the 205 problem :)

The reason why the stereo in the 75 sounded shite. Dodgy connection in the bodged looking loom behind the dash. Must see if I can get a NOS one from somewhere.

Exam on Thursday. Paper doesn't really resemble a) anything I remember being taught and b) doesn't follow a pattern every year. And I've still not got any marks back from my written assignments, so I've got no idea how much to sh.t myself, other than a lot.

IE. is it possible to DIY a compressor rebuild if it's not holding gas? Looking at buying aircon for the MK2. I'm getting factory kit, and I've looked into it enough to know that it's feasable, so feck off if you're going to say "ooh it'll be ever so expensive and difficult".
