Yon RWD MkIV Astra...08 Jan 2007 17:18 GMT2
A while back someone posted a link to a MkIV Astra Coupe that was ripped
apart to fit some yank muscle. Proper RWD jobby.
Anyone got the link? Would be interested to see the progress now.
Jaguar E type 1 1/2 FHC '67 gearbox upgrade08 Jan 2007 00:30 GMT5
I just bought a lovely E Type 1 1/2 FHC 2+2 with an automatic gearbox.
I would like to make an upgrade to a 4 or 5 gear all syncro gear box.
Does any one have experience with such a conversion and can they give
me links.

My brother is looking for a P38 Rangie or an early MkII Impreza.
He's looking at the bottom end of the market....
Can someone give me a list of bloody good reasons why he should look for
a Classic Rangie or a MkI Impreza instead? - I figure that if you're
Banks and Money - They're Jews, You're Not07 Jan 2007 18:13 GMT38
In the old days there was no paper money. The accepted token of
exchange was precious metal minted into coins by the Church and the
Crown. Because there was only a limited amount of gold and silver
available, the economic life of the nation had a certain regularity.
Can you guess what it is yet?07 Jan 2007 09:46 GMT27

Itchy feet.07 Jan 2007 09:36 GMT15

the left big time, had spongy brakes, power steering noise and a big whine in
the syncro in first gear.  Also had a unichip ...

Blame SteveH for starting all of this.
Who can spot the real vehicle on which this Jaguar is based. It'll take you
all of about 3 seconds.

Looking for first hand experience of decent places to stay.
I've read plenty of horror stories elsewhere - even about places that I know
to be good.
So - anywhere anyone would recommend ?

Yokohama A539s04 Jan 2007 20:26 GMT12
There must be a glut of these in the country at the moment.
If your car runs on a very modest 195/50 x 15" like my Golf does, then A539s
are available for a frankly unbelievable £25.30 each on ebay just now.
I know a few people using this tyre on everything from a new Morgan ...
