LPG Bargemobile06 Sep 2007 19:13 GMT189
Anyone got any ideas? Next year I'll most likely be starting a job where
I'll be driving 25-30K a year, and I fancy a big comfy but swift barge,
running on LPG. I'd need at least a 400 mile range on gas, and have a fairly
decent sized boot to take the tank and various gear. Cars ...

it's damn ugly! i like the early scoobs myself anyway but they've really
f.cked up the looks. and body roll!

car audio advice06 Sep 2007 01:14 GMT26
I finally gave in to the pressures of practicality and bought a primula
estate last week, in replacement for the passat.  General impressions
are good; it's vastly better than the VW to fling about the countryside,
and the 2.0 engine, whilst initially feeling a bit gutless, ...
Stripey bastards05 Sep 2007 22:59 GMT5
I got stung by a wasp today. I didn't realise it was still flying around in
my t-shirt until 40 minutes and two more stings later. Which was nice.
Golf clocks04 Sep 2007 21:58 GMT8
My Dad, in his infinite wisdom, decided to connect the battery charger to my
Golf without his reading glasses on a while ago. He got it wrong. He
disconnected it pretty sharpish, but ever since the rev counter and MFA
aren't playing ball - the same as they do when your battery ...
Crikey04 Sep 2007 21:19 GMT11
I've just pulled a lump of rust about 2mm long by 1/2mm wide out of my eye.
I thought I'd got an eyelash in it or something.
I wonder if I left it long enough whether I'd have gone blind or produced a
pearl.

Re-Gassing A/C04 Sep 2007 00:35 GMT6
How ?
SWMBO has a year 2000 1.4 Seat Ibiza which does not do the whole A/C thing
any more.
The icy blast has been replaced by a tepid waft.
Diesel & LPG.03 Sep 2007 19:04 GMT11
I once read that an LPG conversion was available for diesel engines
too (well, more of an additive, I suppose). Did these kits ever take
off?
Cheers.

The difficult bits were easy.
The easy bits were actually quit tricky.
Fitting the tank and getting all the pipes into and out of it were trickier
than I ever imagined.
New Mini Tuning03 Sep 2007 09:25 GMT4
Mate has just got a Cooper S - where does one go for a nice remap and pulley
fiddle for 200 or so bhp?

There's a massive collection of Haynes BoLs knocking around on the torrent
sites. Finally I will be able to find the fuse that's stopped the fag
lighter working in the Van...
