These Ebay stainless manifolds and exhausts31 Dec 2007 17:38 GMT1
All seem to be coming out of Belgium under the brand of "Hot Tuning", and
they're mighty cheap. Golf ones are £160 quid or so, whereas the likes of
TSR want £260 quid. Anyone got any idea of they're any cop?
For that matter, what's with all the cheap bits from Cz advertised in the ...

Only he turned up in Practical Performance Cars this month - in their
£999 challenge.
Unfortunately, the hugely modded Paxo he built for the event blew up
Some piccies of the Isuzu/GMC mystery machine.30 Dec 2007 10:49 GMT56
Been back today so I could get some photos while they were still closed
for Xmas.
The tax disc says Isuzu.
The steering wheel is a lotus one and it is automatic/turbodiesel.
306 MOT Yesterday30 Dec 2007 00:15 GMT2
Needed a new ball joint and the indicator bulbs had lost their
yellowness a bit too much; they were showing a bit too white apparently.
Sorted now, another 12 months ticket. In nearly 40k miles all I've
needed on the old workhorse is:

Skoda Superbs seem to be fetching around £3.5k for a 2004 car. AFAICS that's
around about 00/01 Passat money. Given that they tend to be kitted with just
about everything, that's tempting.

Merry Xmas everybody.26 Dec 2007 10:51 GMT10
I'm not even going to mention car mods, as nobody ever usually does, so
why make an exception.
Oh, and happy birthday to me.
New zafira diesel minireview26 Dec 2007 10:28 GMT5
Currently in a Zaf 1.9 diesel thing, not sure how many horsies but quite
nippy and a six speed box. Toyota being fixed after milk float incident.
Drives like the old Zaf, dull but safe. Low profile tyres give it more grip
than power, 6 speed box means >33mph/1000 in top.
