Driving in serious frost, in your mid engine RWD hatch, with crap, pretty worn tyres is quite funny. However, if you're force to accelerate up hill whilst turning to get out of a junction - it can get a *little* hairy. Also I can't really recommend giving it subtle beans mid ...

Can anyone recommend some decent sounding 13cm speakers? Components would be fine, can't be arsed running an amp in the car as it doesn't need to be especially loud.

Having come to the realisation that a solid reliable, tidy Merc on LPG isn't going to come along very easily, nor is anything else tidy and on LPG going to come along in a huge hurry, I think a Diesel B5 Passat may be on the cars.

| FORMULA 1 NOW COMPLETELY POINTLESS | 12 Dec 2007 19:26 GMT | 11 |
The FIA has just shot Formula 1 in the foot. Thankfully, I saw the light ages ago and follow WRC instead where such a rule, should it ever happen, wouldn't make a difference. On circuit racing though, it just means "same old, same old" for the next decade.

| What are Volvo 850 Diesels like? | 12 Dec 2007 19:14 GMT | 42 |
Got my half sensible head on today after doing some overtime and then filling up the tank. Can they be played with as much as the T5 petrols? £63 for 440kms mixed use including two 5mph crawls (40minutes one day

131.2bhp at the crank, at something just over 6700rpm. Not bad for an old 106 GTi with just an induction kit. Let the debate into how flawed figures obtained from a rolling road, are... ;-)

Anyone know much about it? No particular reason, I'm just curious (for the moment). I've arsed around with glass fibre, I was wondering if any of you knew if you had to use any particular epoxy resin, or would the stuff for glass fibre

| aftermarket window tints | 11 Dec 2007 14:28 GMT | 3 |
Hello all. I am getting a new car soon but the darkest tint glass that is available as an option from the manufacturer is nowhere near as dark as I would like it. I know there are a number of companies that can tint windows to customer specification and that they use films or

| Over heating | 11 Dec 2007 07:51 GMT | 1 |
I have an 1980 MGB. It had a cataletic converter when new. That was removed long ago. It has always over heated. My late husband was working on trying to eliminate this problem. My car is now torn down and I don't have the slightest idea what he may have had in mind to
