On top of that, tyre pressures were down buy 3 pounds ...

I love the thought of electric hotrods.
But they need charging.
I love the electric Tesla, but it needs charging.
But I hate the thought of the Pious.

I should probably get a baseline figure for the trackday shed before I
start playing with intake, exhaust and the likes...
Minireview: Mitsubishi Galant 2 litre (S reg)08 Jun 2008 00:58 GMT14
Borrowed a Galant so here's my minireview.
Looks like a shark or something. Feels quite responsive to drive (like
a silk glove after the oven glove-like Merc). Firm but quite well
damped ride. Doesn't often feel crashy like my old 620Ti did. For a

One or two of you may already know, but I appear to have bought myself

Since insuring the 406, I've averaged 38mpg. I could've had a f.cking petrol!

The shed has been tidied and used by other people. So far, I have:
3 incomplete socket sets.
A jack which was seperated from its handle.
An air hose which has had all the fittings changed, and the old fittings
OT, that's strange a car forum I don't like.05 Jun 2008 17:05 GMT4
And it's PistonHeads. There seems to be quite a lot of car snobbery on there
(hardly surprising when they have the best over a dozen TVR forums, yet lump
all French cars into one) but they all have such high opinions of there
"knowledge" as well, virtually every one of them seems ...
Mini review 2: New shape Mitsubishi Colt05 Jun 2008 11:57 GMT1
Continuing the Mitsubishi theme...
Hired one of these in Tasmania as it was cheaper for three of us to
fly and hire a car there than it was to take the V-Dub on the ferry.
Which was fortuitous as the hills in Western Tassie were far to steep

i know i know you have to wear leathers and look like a homo power ranger
but with the rising cost of fuel i've been considering going for my bike
licence and picking up a cheap bike.
trouble is i know f.ck all about bikes, f.ck all about riding one and f.ck
The Ring!04 Jun 2008 19:32 GMT61
Seen as though it's time to do all those things I've always wanted to do -
on the 23rd of June I'll be hopping on a ferry to the continent - then over
the next week doing The Ring, the San Bernadino Pass, the Davos to Stelvio
road, the Col de Turini and visiting Monaco :)  ...
