| Me and my SD1 | 16 Jul 2008 20:13 GMT | 24 |
I've been thinking long and hard about the SD1 over the last few weeks - I'm definitely keeping it but I'm trying to decide what to do with it. I'm gradually getting all the little jobs done on it, but the major work that needed doing is out of the way for now. So what should the ...

| What would you like to see a hire company hiring out? | 16 Jul 2008 18:38 GMT | 55 |
Just got me thinking...... If you lived in a convenient town/city centre spot - somewhere from where it was easier to walk/cycle/bus/train it to work each day, walk to the local Tesco Metro/Sainsbury's Local etc for shopping, and generally all the day to

| Next big trip ideas? | 16 Jul 2008 12:10 GMT | 16 |
As mentioned in another post SWMBO and I plan to bugger off abroad again in the next year or so. An embryo of an idea formed in my mind today that a great way to start our trip would be to take the Big Red Merc as far as it will go before it breaks expensively (there'd have

I can't remember when I last logged in, but I think I mentioned looking at a BMW 530i. The whole thing has been "flog the MR2, get an estate car/comfortable motorway car to do until the house sells, if it's good, flog the Suzuki too". I've been messed around by one guy with the

| Pug 407 Coupe | 16 Jul 2008 08:06 GMT | 73 |
Managed to track one down today. Didn't bother with a test drive as it was only the 2.0 pikey spec - the GTs that I'm interested in are so significantly different I didn't think it was worthwhile.

After reading this, I feel compelled to send him an award for the greatest misuse of the English language since Vamp was discovered. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220257341108 I really want a double duck window.

| Suspension mods. | 15 Jul 2008 17:41 GMT | 21 |
I chickened out and we had the Audi's new front struts fitted at a local garage while they were doing a wheelbearing for us. I did the rears the other day as detailed in another post. Koni FSDs for anyone who's interested.

| what gearshift ? | 15 Jul 2008 10:15 GMT | 13 |
Yeah, I know, this is bordering on a mods post, but it sort of balance out some of the other crap. Anyway, as some of yule know, my old Sylva is very very slowly receiving a new engine. (Only lord Doug knows how slowly).

| OK, who has a bluetooth headunit? | 15 Jul 2008 08:45 GMT | 31 |
Not a factory fit unit, but a headunit? Getting bored with the poor quality of the Philips/VDO that was in the saab when I got it, and I don't need satnav that out of date when I have tomtom on my phone.
