i quite liked this weekends race, few incidents keeping it exciting, it's probably the first time i've sat through the race from start to finish! normally i watch the start then i'm in and out catching little bits then sit down for the last 20mins but this sundays race was worth ...

Amazingly enough, I did manage to modify a car today. The MX-5 now sports a harness bar and 4-point harness for the driver, plus a rear strut brace. Now all I need to do is find a convenient weekend to fit the rollbar and I'll actually have some space in my

My Golf has a 1.6 AFT in it - it says so on the cam cover. Were I to consider an exchange engine, what fits where an AFT fits. Doesn't have to be a 1.6 neccesarily :-)

I have got a 1997 Honda Civic VTI and find that each section of the standard Honda exhaust rusts out in just 2 years. I now have found I have a crack in my exhaust manifold and thought it would be a good time to look into replcing the full exhaust system with a stainless

I've managed to get my hands on a car I never thought I'd be able to find. After nearly 25 years of hunting one down, I've managed to find a tidy Renault 30 TX. 68k miles, been off the road since the late 80's / early 90's. Needs recommisioning, a new back box, trim and bumpers ...

| Aftermarket knock sensor for Rover V-8 | 25 Sep 2008 10:09 GMT | 17 |
Latest versions of the Rover V-8 have the block casting modified to accept a knock sensor (thanks Badger). Anyone fitted one to an earlier engine and if so where and how? One type I've found which might be suitable is secured by a bolt going through it

Washed and waxed the 'wagon, cleaned and fed the leather. Routed a 4-way adaptor from the lighter socket to under the armrest and ran a cable to power my Sat. Nav. on the right hand side of the instrument pods.

Looks like Someone was in a hurry, but try and see what car it is, I have tried slowing it down but can just make out a spoiler and a back end like a supra. Any ideas?
