It appears that the most reliable two vehicles I own happen to be a Mazda RX7 and a Mazda MX5. Which means I get to drive the RX7[1] to Switzerland instead of the f.cking A8. Which wouldn't be that bad if I didn't need something with more than 2

This week SWMBO and I have been mostly MOTing our cars. Big Red Merc needed a tyre and the chip in the windscreen picked up on the way home from buying it (doh) was big enough to require a replacement. Fully comp insurance meant this wasn't too expensive. A

At work we have a quantity of 12v sealed lead acid batteries used for field kit. Is charging them with a decent car battery charger a sane idea? Can they all be parallelled up to one charger for a float charge? We're currently experiencing the difficulties you'd expect - flat ...

This weekend I managed to pop a driveshaft out of the gearbox of my daily driver, whilst changing the wishbones. Don't ask me how - if I knew, I'd have not have pulled a driveshaft out, would I? Not happy...

Personally, I can't abide sunroofs in cars, I'd much rather have AC and headroom instead. Just looked out of the window at the three cars in my sig and noticed a recurring theme.
