Much worse to drive than this 306 HDI, even though the 206 has 51k from new,
and the 306 has covered 134k from new.

Yes, they're a bit crap.
But at either half price(+5%) or BOGOF, they're not a bad deal at all.

I spent a few hours on working on the SD1 yesterday (in the sunshine).  Now
has new rear dampers, new (2nd hand) aluminium induction pipes, the temp
gauge works and it's clean and tidy.  So it's all ready for a guy to come
and look at it today.  And the bugger hasnt turned up.  ...

Fortunately, I have the wiper motor swap down to a fine art. 45 minutes

... and I have to change the knackered thermostat on the ovloV today as
I'm planning to take that on a little trip to Gatwick on Tuesday and
don't really want to drive around with a thermostat that opens a little

Made by Bosch.
The only bits of Mrs H's 156 that have gone wrong have been the German
bits.
