Decided to finally fulfil a long time ambition and splurge on a radio control flying wing. After days spent building, testing, practising on a simulator etc etc, finally got to take it out in a gap in the rain today with a guy at work

Went to pick up my P6 today. It was in Stoke, bought unseen by me before I buggered off to Czech, MOTless but taxed until the end of next March - the joys of tax exemption and my first ownership experience of it. Was a hopeful buy but

Left home this morning to find that some kind chap had peeled back the top corner of the passenger door on gf's car, in order to reach in and swipe the itrip she had inadvertently left on display. I bent it back into approximate shape, but I'll be surprised if it seals

I've just spent the afternoon for preparing a job application, which has the closing date specified as today. Which usually means applications can be submitted until midnight. But of course, in this case, means that they actually closed last night...
