I think when I get setup in my new house31 Aug 2009 21:07 GMT2
As well a project car/van/hearse, I'm going to need to get the bar built
pretty sharpish.
I feel the urge to get into home brewing, a batch or two of Turbo cider
to drink quick, then some mead on the go for long term consumption, and
Well, the Elise isn't quite that pristine anymore31 Aug 2009 01:44 GMT10
No, I didn't lob it.
Tried to fit the soft top, which is one of those "it seems to be a good
idea after 10 pints" types. The left 'bar' between the windscreen
surround and the rollbar seemed to sit a little wobbly but in the right

I want to make something utterly mental, out of something only partly
mental, and sell it to a drug fuelled rock and roller for a stupid
profit.

with T&T?
I need a motor for a measly 2 mile commute. The missus needs our polo for
work, so I've been walking to work for the last fortnight but I'm heartily
pissed off at getting rained on and arriving soaked every day.
Riddle me this...29 Aug 2009 20:50 GMT39
I'm planning to go see my mum in Switzerland in October and due to
various requirements like dropping Ann off at the Zurich airport etc
means that we can't take the 911 or the Elise because neither has the
luggage capacity. Which would leave the Golf but I'm again toying with

Tumbleweeds around here!
Was it DanB, Tom De Moor and SteveH that kept this group going?
Because since they passed away/got hounded out it's been so quiet.

Autoglym25 Aug 2009 17:20 GMT4
Just spent the past couple of hours Autoglymming the interior of the
Mitsubishi as I didn't fancy doing over 1000 miles in the state it was
in. It even got the crayon out of the headlining and the car has a
pleasent lemony smell now.

Reckon it wouldn't take much to get going again properly and OTR, and

Maybe I'm just an impatient so and so...23 Aug 2009 13:13 GMT21
I'm having a little grump here. Because of trackdays I booked a while
ago, I really would need the Elise that's in the sig as pending by
next weekend. I thought I had communicated that to the seller, but
maybe it wasn't obvious enough. And that's *need*, not *want*.
