How good does this look28 Sep 2009 07:16 GMT1

Damn that is a fine motorcar.
If this was a year from now, the split complete, and the house setup, I
could see myself with this as an early xmas pressie.
Some people seem to have trouble finding the 'make offer' button...28 Sep 2009 00:18 GMT6
Great, 0-fuckwit in slightly over 4 hours. Listed the Golf on fleabay
last night (fixed price with 'make an offer' as suggested by JackH) and
of course the first email I get regarding it is "how much would you take
for it?". Jeez, what do you think the 'Make Offer' button is for ...
Cyclist scratching car27 Sep 2009 23:32 GMT177
When driving the other day, I had a cyclist pass very close to the
nearside of my car, I had allowed adaquate room he couldn't have been
more that a knats whisker away from me.
Cyclists seem to expect the use of the road without incident, but
Alfa 156 Sportswagon mini-review27 Sep 2009 21:32 GMT12
Picked up my latest ebay folly today with some help from JackH. It's a
bought five minutes before the facelift kicked in 156 Sportswagon (2l
TS). Light blue, no less, which the missus won't like much but hey, it
was cheap-ish.

Do I get the impression that you are just 'slightly' anti car??
Forgive me, I don't really know your background or whether or not you
have driven a car in your life, but you seem to be the ultimate uber
cyclist who actually can't see both sides of the story.
Oi, Conor!27 Sep 2009 00:26 GMT1
Did you drive your Capri through Saltburn this afternoon?
That's a good afternoon.26 Sep 2009 20:38 GMT2
F1 followed by a few hours in the back of a cramped, poorly ventilated, '60's
"sports" coupe with handfuls of glass matting and half a tub of resin. One
side is now done and I'll go back to it tomorrow afternoon and do the drive's
side. Yes an actual car modification (even if it ...

Ebay, autotrader or both?25 Sep 2009 09:14 GMT29
For the Golf, that is. As it has been pointed out, at least last
weekend there weren't any Mk IV TDIs on autotrader at the price I'm
asking for mine, even if I "undo" the ukrcm discounts.
Is it worth bunging on there at all or am I better off just sticking
Rockingham22 Sep 2009 10:00 GMT2
Went to Rockingham yesterday, what an awesome place.  Me and Dad were lucky
enough to be given some free tickets along with access to the Porsche
hospitality suite and a breifing with Tim Harvey prior to a Porsche Carrera
Cup race, which was all good.  But the racing there is ...

VAG gearbox expertise needed21 Sep 2009 17:46 GMT10
I seem to have acquired myself a 1997 Seat Ibiza 1.4.  Only problem is it's
gearbox is knackered.  I was going to drive it round for a bit and just let
it whine away until I found a cheap box to put in it.  However the box
decided to lunch itself within about 0.5 miles of me ...
Yummy.20 Sep 2009 19:24 GMT15
I'm loving it.

The New Ford Fiesta Back Bumper20 Sep 2009 17:15 GMT11
Are they likely to be revising the range any time soon, as the black
bumper at the back looks weird and out of place, why not colour code
it?
