I am looking for the above or similar preferably as an estate but a hatch will do. In the Ipswich area with long MOT and taxed until at least the end of Dec. Must have history and low miles and be in perfect working order for cash on the spot.

Not a whinge - just an observation. I bought a 1996 N reg of the above in June for £1100 off a mate. It was sight unseen as I trusted the answers to some basic questions such as "is there anything noteworthy wrong with it?" I'd have preferred to know that the synchromesh was shot on ...
