'99 S-Type Jag - The blighter!!01 Jun 2005 00:24 GMT2
I have a 1999 Jaguar S-Type, with a 4.0 Litre V8.
Recently I've been having battery trouble (I believe) - After being in town
the car would not start.  The engine would turn over weakly then the car
alarm would go off.  After having the car removed by a towing company to the
HPI check - outstanding finance01 Jun 2005 00:04 GMT21
My husband has found a second hand car he wants to buy.  We just did an HPI
check and it told us that there is outstanding finance on the vehicle.
Everything else was ok.  The person we would be buying from has already said
that she's selling it because she's buying a house, so ...

Had accident (my fault) but other part hasn't rung to ask for details.31 May 2005 21:34 GMT21
Rear-ended someone on Friday morning coming off the M5 near Cheltenham.
Totally my fault but there wasn't a huge amount of damage. Gave the
fella my business card with home no and mobile no on the back.
Thing is he has'nt phoned me yet to get insurance details off me. What
Tyre prices at Costco31 May 2005 18:35 GMT23
I've heard others on here praise CostCo in the past for tyres.
I'm after a pair of Pirelli P6000 205 55 R16 H (Standard OEM Mondeo tyres).
Best price I've found is 79.64 all in, fitted, everything.
Does anyone have the price for these tyres (or an equivalent) at Costco?

Anyone know where I can download the latest episode of Top Gear with the
MC-12 test? I missed it on Sunday night and would really love to see it.
Cheers,

Saw one on the M4 this week. It *does* look a lot better in the metal
than in the photographs.
