| Toyota Prius | 28 May 2005 15:31 GMT | 7 |
How come the Prius in the US is about 20,000 bucks but is about 18 to 20K pounds here in the UK - I thought car makers were moving away from the old 'Brit car buyers are mugs' and din't the EU bring in laws re car pricing? Anyone know how much the Prius costs elsewhere in the EU?

| Ten grand for a McLaren F1???? | 28 May 2005 14:32 GMT | 8 |
Well not really, but it looks a bit like one. If you don't look at it for long, and you're squinting, and it's very, very dark, and you're blind and your brain doesn't work properly and you're a very long way from the car.

| Scum trouble | 28 May 2005 11:11 GMT | 4 |
Having trouble with the neighbourhood scum. Basically anti-social behaviour. Plenty (and I mean absolute loads) of room to park on the road (even their own f.cking driveway), but insist on blocking me in or out. Dropped kerb so it is a legal access.

| car brokers | 26 May 2005 16:18 GMT | 3 |
SWMBO likes the Citroen C2 (yeh, yeh), and is seriously thinking about buying one, but the prices Citroen dealers are asking seems high to me, even with the discounts. I told her it would be cheaper to buy from a broker but then got stumped

| Wheel locked | 25 May 2005 17:24 GMT | 29 |
I have a flat tyre and cannot remove it because the alloy has a lock on it but I do not have a key (I do not recall receiving one when I bought the car). I have enquired with the AA and they said they could try and fix it

| Cheaper insurance by adding another driver | 25 May 2005 15:02 GMT | 4 |
My insurance quote is reduced if I add a second driver to my policy, if the second driver is female and hasn't made any claims. I guess this is because the female driver is statistically a lower risk than I am (26yr old male), and when she is driving the car, I can't be.

| Does this wheel sound like a Mini's? | 25 May 2005 13:53 GMT | 6 |
I need a spare wheel for my trailer (don't mind risking driving it around town full of junk with no spare, but draw the line at a trip to France!). Now I'm pretty sure the guy I got the trailer from said it was built using Mini wheels; if so, a trip to the scrappy ought to sort

| LED Valve caps, are they legal ? | 24 May 2005 21:28 GMT | 16 |
seen quite a few places selling these LED valve caps that light up at night now but are they legal. I have seen nothing to say they are not legal but a mate says they are now. I thought as long as you don't display a blue flashing light it's OK to use them.
