How accurate are the urban, extra-urban, and combined fuel economy results? In the past on here somebody has said that all perfromance cars consume a lot of fuel when driven hard. This poster implied that performance cars could get a lot better than the published figures.

Just got a 2004 Mondeo and the cigar lighter is between the front seats so unsure which way to go with a hands free. My last car hands free plugged into the cigar lighter which was on the central fascia but which will not fit in the Mondeos cigar lighter.

I bought a set of roof bars from Halfords, and they are fixed using thumbscrews. The intructions say 'tighten thumbscrews to 2 newtons', can anyone tell me how my thumb knows when it has reached '2 newtons'?

Perhaps part of the problem with uk cannabis coffee shops is the fact they have always in or very near the center of the town . Would a old transport cafe not be a more suitable location as they would be out of sight and out of town - with the result the police might adopt

Looking for cheap insurance after a 2 year ban for driving whilst drunk and crashing into a bus queue full of pensioners and children. Stupidly, I then left the scene of the accident and crashed into a police car after a high speed chase through a pedestrian precinct.

Am I right in thinking, that to be caught by a speed camera and fined etc, there needs to be a sign warning you that there are speed cameras in the area? Sounds crazy I know, but I'm sure I've read this somewhere - maybe on here though...
