Mileage adjustment for 1999 Fiesta08 Jun 2005 21:56 GMT8
I'm selling my 1999 V reg Fiesta. Parkers (online) gives me guide prices
however as I've only done 29,000 miles instead of 50,000 I believe the
valuation should be increased by a mileage adjustment.  Can anyone tell
me where I can find details?
All new Fords look the same08 Jun 2005 21:55 GMT33
The most boring design strategy since when? This week's Auto Express
shows the new Fiesta. Its rear looks identical to the rear of the
Focus, C-Max and Mondeo estate. It wears the same lights as on the new
Focus and the C-Max. Are Ford deliverately making all their cars look
Whee! White Van Man!08 Jun 2005 18:10 GMT56
I had to help my sister move from Cambridge to Edinburgh - rented a van
(£89 for two full days - collect 8:30am Wednesday (theoretical), return
8:30am Friday) - a LWB, high top Transit. The firm had once rented me a
Transit that nearly killed me, but this time I got a nice, RWD ...

My brother is being forced, by a change of job, to buy his own car.
He's been looking at an Alfa 156 2.0 Twin-Spark, so I thought I'd ask you
for any pearls of wisdom that you may have.
It's a '00 W with 43k miles on.  It's an ex-pool car so the service history

Where can I high speed 'test'06 Jun 2005 09:33 GMT62
I've just bought this lovely new car. Previously I've always given a
car a run at or near the maximum speed (on deserted motorways in the
early hours) - just once to see what it is like - in the case of an MGB
it is scary!
Received NIP for speeding - requesting evidence06 Jun 2005 02:28 GMT10
I received a NIP for speeding last weekend. This surprised me to say the
least because it's a road that I'm always extremely careful to stick to
the limits on (not least because they keep changing the limits).
Anyway, I'd like to see a copy of the photographic evidence before I
2004 Focus door mirror04 Jun 2005 23:03 GMT4
Someone broke the glass part of my son's door mirror. The exterior housing
seems to be OK but the plastic section which holds the glass was lying
beside the car with the glass cracked.
Can this section be got as a replacement part? Does it just clip back into
A140 10 minute review03 Jun 2005 18:44 GMT14
My dad got his A-class (so I got my Beetle back from loaning it to him -
Yeay!), and I took it for a drive yesterday.
Model is an A140 swb Avantgarde, with the full length sunroof, and it's
done 10,000 miles.
Loan to buy a van02 Jun 2005 20:41 GMT23
I have a friend who is currently considering buying a van.  He's considering
either a brand new Citroen Relay van for about £10k, or a 3-4 year old
Sprinter for about £6-7k.
He needs to borrow the money to buy the van, but is having trouble getting a

Did he just drop a skip on a biturbo?

Audi A3 2.0 T Sport DSG01 Jun 2005 22:09 GMT10
I had to share this with you guys. I just got delivery of the car in the
subject line today! It is absolutely outstanding.
The power is incredible. Very smooth with hardly any turbo lag and the
gear-box is just incredible. There is just no noticeable time between
Seven boys in fatal car pile-up 01 Jun 2005 19:44 GMT6
"Three boys have died and four others have been critically injured in a
five-vehicle crash in Oxford.
The accident happened on the A4142 on Saturday when a Citroen Xsara, driven
by a 45-year-old woman and carrying the seven boys, hit a Honda Civic. "
