Fiat Punto goes clank after rear bushes replaced31 Jul 2005 18:10 GMT2
I've got a 1997 P-reg Fiat Punto which passed its MOT last Tuesday, but for
the last couple of years I haven't driven it as much as I used to because I
changed workplace to one within walking distance.
I now know that disc brakes at the front are something that can go a bit rusty

Am I right in saying that you should and its in the highway code? If
anyone can provide a link that would be cool...
Speed camera vigilantes - shouldn't really encourage 'em, but...30 Jul 2005 10:13 GMT17
Rounding the corner on the A647 today, something was missing. Soon realised
that it was the speed camera. (This is/was an interestingly sited scamera,
immediately before a speed limit increase from 60 to 70 where cars are
accelerating out of a bend and up a long, straight hill.).
Insurance29 Jul 2005 23:02 GMT3
Im changing cars this week to an 2003 ford mondeo 2.0tdci 130. Insurance
rates for this seem quite a jump from my current 2dti zafira. Are fords more
expensive to insure or is it the jump to 130bhp thats driving the increase?
... the car values are only £500 apart.

Topless out of season?28 Jul 2005 23:16 GMT8
SWMBO is hankering after an MX5. I doubt that the new model will have
any impact on used prices at the c. 5k end of the market, but
conventional wisdom says that you don't buy convertibles in the Summer.
Any idea what the price differential is? I think it's unlikely that

Bluetooth car kit and sat nav28 Jul 2005 10:35 GMT3
I'm looking to buy a Bluetooth car kit. I'm looking for one that's fully
wired-in (i.e. uses my hi-fi speakers) and from a quick look on the web,
the Parrot CK3100 looks pretty good - does anyone have any experience of
this or other kits?
