The interior heating fan (not fancy climate control / air con) seems to have something stuck in it, as it makes a grating/rasping noise when in use. Any idea where the fan is located and how to investigate this? I'm trying to sell this car, and although I could sell 'as is', I'd ...

| MORE TH>N? | 26 Aug 2005 22:42 GMT | 9 |
Had a flyer delivered this morning. Addressed, "To the safe driver at this address". We have 2 in fact. :-) Apart from promising to reduce my premium. Don't they all. It promised that if I'd made no claims in the last 4 years, they would never:-

| Where can I check used car prices? | 26 Aug 2005 22:34 GMT | 21 |
A mate is in dispute over the value of his written off motor. He was T-boned and they say it's not worth fixing. It was a Fiesta Ghia, G reg. Not immaculate but not an old clonker either.... it looked comfy with it's years is about the best way to

| Checking the load on the battery? | 25 Aug 2005 19:55 GMT | 5 |
I've got a problem with my car stereo flattening the battery. It's a long story and it's not as simple as having the switched and the constant 12v+ wired wrong. They're definitely right. So in order to do some testing, I'd like to be able to determine the

| Puma Speed Cats | 23 Aug 2005 19:50 GMT | 21 |
Where can I buy some of these (and try them on)? They are apparently good for driving, but I have been unable to find them. I've tried JJB Sports, and Sports World. They seemed to have loads of Puma's, but not the Speed Cats :(

| really bog-cheap car recommendations? | 23 Aug 2005 19:40 GMT | 60 |
I'm likely to be moving soon to a place which is a mile from the nearest train station. I don't fancy that walk in the rain or in the heat of the summer either. If I wanted to buy a cheapo car to drive to the station in - like, under £500 - what's a good choice?

| Gatso speed cameras | 23 Aug 2005 19:26 GMT | 27 |
This evening I was driving home, approching a Gatso which I have driven past hundreds of times... I know the procedure.. slow down to sub-30mph before the markings on the road (just like everyone else did) BUT... the bloody thing flashed twice on me. The car ahead of me was at ...

| Coasting in neutral uses more fuel ? | 23 Aug 2005 19:06 GMT | 33 |
On Dixons Motor Group they state : http://www.dixonmotors.co.uk/aboutus/news.asp?pr=/data/pressreleases/news/pr2906 05.html&page= Don't coast in neutral - it doesn't save fuel. When you slow down stay in gear as modern cars automatically shut off fuel to the engine if you're not
