Does anyone know if it possible to update Road Angel database? I get
locations of speed cameras etc in the local papers but the only way I can
update the Road Angel is drive round them all, it would be better if I could
locate them on a gPS map program (E.g. Autoroute) and input ...

Moving from Hatchback to Saloon17 Oct 2005 11:11 GMT13
I have only ever driven small hatchbacks, Mini's, Audi A3, 206 etc etc but
I'm currently considering getting a 4 door saloon, such as an Audi A4 to get
the extra boot space, rear leg room and 2 more doors. As I have never driven
a saloon before I'm slightly worried if it will be ...
MOT failure?16 Oct 2005 23:20 GMT5
My rear washer jet doesn't work properly.  When I try using it, it just
dribbles.  I know it should be working for the MOT, but does this mean
working properly or just working so that it gets the rear window wet?
My MOT is in about a months time!

DIY estate car!15 Oct 2005 23:31 GMT40
Earlier on today I saw one of the most unusual vehicles I've ever seen on
the road.
It was a BMW 5 series saloon car from about 1990 (two models ago) which had
been converted into an estate.
Decision Time!15 Oct 2005 20:38 GMT20
Well, E reg Volvo 240 2.3 petrol Estate (176,000 miles) went for MOT today
and it looks like £400 of welding plus some ball joints and a few niggly
bits to get it through...  Paid £800 three years ago and it's cost us
nothing in repairs up to now...
Need advice about starting a small used car dealership15 Oct 2005 17:23 GMT16
I intend to buy cars from traders or private sellers, and then sell the
cars either in car auctions or in classifieds.
Would you be able to help me with the following questions:
1. How do I buy a £2000plus car from a private seller? understandably

Car salesmen - useless?15 Oct 2005 11:58 GMT11
It's a first for me that I can afford a car that is less than 10 years
old, so having narrowed down my choice to a Skoda Octavia estate, I've
been trawling the small ads and web sites.
These cars are not commonly up for sale - there are maybe 10 for less
best car for sleeping in (properly)?15 Oct 2005 11:50 GMT13
What's the best car for sleeping in?
As in, for two people to get a good night's sleep,
in a double bed. I don't just mean somewhere to
have a shag! :)
<shakes head sadly>14 Oct 2005 18:38 GMT10
Oh, gawd, what ARE they on...?
I've just seen a press release - they're going to have another crack at
bringing Caddys and Corvettes into the UK. Except this time, they're
"prestige"...
Insurance - driving other peoples cars14 Oct 2005 18:02 GMT5
Okay, after the recent press coverage of NU decision to remove the "any
car" clause from their policies, I gave my insurer, Elephant, a call.
I was told that the policy only covered you to drive other cars in "an
emergency", did not cover "pre-arranged" situations and was 3rd party
Paying insurance annually13 Oct 2005 11:41 GMT4
I just recently payed my insurance in one lump sump instead of opting for
monthly installments. When doing this, what usually happens when you wish to
change car half way through the term?
