While mooching round the web at work, I noticed that the 206 (I assume the newer model) HDi's have an oil temperature gauge. My 306 has the gauge, but only uses it for a level check when I first turn the iginition on. Once it has done this, it falls down to zero and

I have a BMW 316i Compact Auto, 1995 model. I'm trying to find out if the windscreen has an ultra violet coating. Is it likely that it's too old to have one of these? It's tinted, with a black line around the edges, which graduates into black dots. There's no clues on the glass ...
