Due to some messup at mercedes I never got a v5 document after buying my car last november. Now I am due to tax it I have phoned the dvla to say I dont have a reminder or the V5. They told me my car isnt registed to anybody at the moment. Am I breaking any law by not having

Why buy a car with such a built in liability when there are now more camchain models available? Ok chains *can* be a problem at times.. But how come we all know at least 6 people who have had a snapped belt? ( garages all know 600...

Still... support for belts............... But There`s a lot of snapping and financial suffering going on ...... So why not embrace the availability of chains, now alongside the belt drive models often at no extra cost to the customer , even on small

In the old days, 'they' gave you 14 days after the tax ran out as a grace period. I've just taxed the old car on Saturday from the beginning of the month due to waiting for parts to pass the MOT. But no penalty as they say on the TV ads. So how long do you get before the computer ...

On the way home via the high street today I noticed a group of about 5 people gathered near a car (and their van) As I walked past the (Audi A4) had a huge sticker on it saying something along the lines of UNTAXED CAR REMOVAL
