I am thinking of purchasing a nearly new SEAT Ibiza 1.4TDi with

MOT Price 22 Mar 2006 13:52 GMT4
My R Reg Mondeo passed today with no problems .When did the cost of an
MOT go up to £45 .Was it when the system went computerised and does
that mean they won't ask for the MOT Cert when you tax the car next

not to drive the car if I could avoid it :(

am thinking of purchasing one . I beleive this has a 3-cylinder
engine??  I don't mind it being slower than my current 1.4 Fiesta as
it'll be massively more economical but I beleive they are quite lively

Seats convert to single bed?21 Mar 2006 18:57 GMT7
1. Being single and retired, I do not feel inclined to pay £20,000+ for
a motor caravan.
2. The Mazda Bongo type of conversion seems to offer new equipment in
(very) old clothes, namely a 5/10 year old van.

When I take the coupe in for the new engine this week........21 Mar 2006 01:34 GMT3
The only modification that I am aware of is the dump valve, I will try
and get it changed back to the original factory fitted valve, apart
from not having the noise, how would the turbo boost be affected? Would
I expect to have a smoother boost as it will keep the air in the

Ford focus alternator20 Mar 2006 20:52 GMT7
My brother's V reg 1.8 diesel focus has been left with me as the
battery was not charging. A new battery and alternator were fitted by
a non ford garage because the earlier battery had been fried by over
charging. Now the alternator warning light is permanently on, pointing
