RIP TVR25 Apr 2006 13:11 GMT8
I have just seen the TVR are on the skids. Apparently the Russian owner
has pulled out. Production was down from 20 to 2 cars a week.
Were they the ones Top Gear tested and found incapable of taking
curves, never mind corners?
Replacing my Seat Ibiza... opinions sought.25 Apr 2006 11:26 GMT41
I'm going to be paying off the hire purchase for the 1997 (R) Seat
Ibiza I've had for about a year and a half soon, because I really
regret taking out the hire purchase instead of just getting a cheapie
car.
What estate for 11k?24 Apr 2006 22:12 GMT19
My dad is gonna buy a Rover 75 connoisseur SE 1.8 2004 for £11k from Car
Craft with over 20k miles on the clock. I think this is a baaaad deal, I'd
never buy from CC but he has never ever listened to my advice and won't
unless I can suggest an alternative.
Opinion wanted: Zafira fold down seats24 Apr 2006 19:09 GMT3
Safe for a rear-facing child's seat (one of those travel system ones where

What happemed here?24 Apr 2006 16:19 GMT3
Got to the bottom of the street in the 416 (blown head gasket) and the
breaks felt weird.
Got on to the main road and after 100 yards it felt like the car was running
away with us.
BMW 5-series24 Apr 2006 11:34 GMT34
Booked one from Hertz for a business trip to Heidelberg, Germany next
week.  Collecting from Frankfurt airport.  Don't know which model
exactly.
So, will I be pleasantly surprised, or a bit disappointed?  Should I
Where does Top Gear get its cars?24 Apr 2006 11:32 GMT11
Hi all...
Something I've always wondered and finally gotten around to asking!
:-)  Where does Top Gear get their cars such as the Bugatti Veyron
from?  Did Bugatti just lend BBC/Clarkson one for a few days to thrash
How heavy is overloaded?24 Apr 2006 11:28 GMT42
I'm taking my venerable old Peugeot 309 for a booze-cruise to Calais
next week and I hear customs have become fond of seizing overloaded
vehicles as part of their puritanical crusade to save us all from
alcoholism, so I'd like to stay safe.
Valuation Please?23 Apr 2006 19:54 GMT4
Could someone with a CAP or Glass's guide give me the numbers on this

hi all, my 2001 diesel scenic has recently developed a problem, it cut-out
on me when I was accelerating hard up-hill, the engine management light came
on and stayed on, but it started up again and seemed ok but you can now hear
the delivery pump  in the tank running all the time if ...

you all.  Quite a bit motorway driving
I'm looking for the best mileage I can,  If I can get 45-50 miles a Gallon
