I tried to buy a (Fiat) car from an internet-based broker. Their 2 week
delivery time was pretty much expired before they contacted me to tell
me I'd have to wait 10-12 weeks for the car in only *nearly* the spec I
want.

I am looking for an idea for a car and have been looking for the last four
weeks without much success.
Budget is £12.5 - £13k
Need four or five doors

I'm not buying a new car, but hypothetically speaking...
On a car finance deal, the interest is calcualted daily/monthly or whatever,
it is not pre-calculated and charged up front (so you pay the interest
first, then what you borrowed...) like some loans.

Real decision to make here.  I am after a sportyish car and a second
hand Focus ST, Leon Cupra and Honda Types-R just about fit into my
budget of £10k.  The question is which one to go for!  The Honda may
just be out of my price brackett as i have not really seen one under

I've been reading lots of reviews of cars and test driving loads also.
However I'm really struggling to find a non-horrible car. I think the
new Ford Focus is not bad and the New Vauxhall Astra is not bad but

Has anyone had a longer experience than a test drive in both the new
fiat panda and the renault modus? I'm going to drive the modus tomorrow
(having made up my mind to buy a Panda only for the dealer to be rude
and lose my custom). A pre-registered Modus costs hardly any more money

Are there any other online price guides apart from Parkers? The car
I'm after isn't listed on Parkers.

Could I have some suggestions for a little town car for a 5-foot-nothing,
lacking in confidence at the moment, woman to drive, please? No motorway
use, reliability and economy important, obviously.
