I'll probably go down to the Southend air show, if the bloody weather
sorts itself out, also fancy seeing "The DaVinci Code" or "Mission
impossible 3" at the cinema, plus much driving in the (now fixed with

Vehicle is an Octavia 1.9TDI year 2000. Can anyone confirm how the rear
drums are removed. It looks like a dust cap is prised off and I assume there
is a large nut which holds on the complete hub (same as an old Orion)
If this is the case, then what is the sequence of  re-setting ...

You may recall that I posted here a couple of weeks ago regarding my Rover
418 sld that wont turn off and by all accounts it is associated with the
stop solenoid being at fault.
Does anyone know which manufacturer of stop solenoid it may be i.e. either

Anyone know the method of resetting or have the instructions on file to
