Best way to remove dead insects from a car?10 Jun 2006 19:41 GMT6
My two saloon type cars don;t seem to get many insects sticking to the
front.
If they do its just certain areas so I keep those waxed and they come off no
problem.
My Honda Dealer Wants To Buy My Car - Advice?10 Jun 2006 15:01 GMT14
I will shortly be getting a vehicle through a PCH scheme for work purposes
and will be looking to get rid of my existing 53-plate Civic 2.0 Type-S.
This one does not have vehicle stability assist so is considered a better
driver's car and a good compromise if you don't want the ...
Aftermarket self-levelling air suspension?10 Jun 2006 11:25 GMT6
Has anybody here got experience with air suspension? I've been wondering
for a while whether it would be possible to find components of the right
specification to create a spring-assisting air system to provide
self-levelling on the rear axle of a Rover SD1. These were fitted
ANPR pull09 Jun 2006 21:23 GMT1
I got pulled this evening after passing a mobile ANPR just outside
Bournemouth. The cop who pulled me in said I was pulled because my vehicle
was flagged. I asked why it was flagged, and he told me he'd tell me in a
min. "when I've got the details". His colleague then came up and ...
chips and scratches09 Jun 2006 13:37 GMT7
Anyone any experience of these dents/chips-a-way mobile outfits?
Got a few scratches on my metallic that I'd like to sort out but it's
not worth a full panel respray.  Has anyone tried one of these mobile
outfits to do paint?  Are they any good?
Cherished Number selling08 Jun 2006 11:10 GMT10
I have a cherished number on retention that I am thinking of selling. The
Times/Sunday Times are selling boxes and they amount to £88.45 for both
their Friday and Sunday papers. That's a bit steep but the value of the
number is indefinable but, because the proceeds will eventually ...

French tat? Who said that?07 Jun 2006 21:19 GMT12
Just watched Sebastien Loeb drive his Citroen 70k on a public road, with the
rear suspension and wheels virtually completely shot. The rear end was just
being dragged along the road. Sparks, wheels, bits of suspension and body
parts being shed on the way. A field day for souvenir ...
SatNav traffic jam re-routing07 Jun 2006 19:44 GMT8
Anyone got this and use it? I have, but I can't help but feel it's a
waste of time. I always ignore it. The route I'm trying to take is the
fastest/easiest given ideal traffic conditions, so it'd have to be a
serious problem for me to think that it's worth jumping off the
Selling Advice requested07 Jun 2006 10:16 GMT9
I'm selling my friends M3 on eBay. I received an email from a user
registered in the US.
"I want to bid on your car and buy it this week. Please let me know it's full

Wilwood 4 pot upgrade06 Jun 2006 19:18 GMT7
Recently i have upgrade my legacy front 2 pot to Wilwood 4 pot slice
rotar, keeping the rear brake stock as 1 pot.
After breaking in, driving for about 2 months now, i noted that the
braking feel is kind of strange, and like to seek your expertise.
What is better?06 Jun 2006 13:16 GMT7
A BMW M5 or 750 Li (similar years late 1990s), what's the best to get?
What's the fastest? I know the obvious answer would be the M5, but then
the 750 has a 5L V12?
Servicing, MPG, deprecation, etc, is of no importance.
WTF is up?05 Jun 2006 17:33 GMT9
...with Fifth Gear? Even by their usual standards, tonight's episode
was scraping the barrel. A piece about how the stunts in MI:3 were
done, not particularly car related, followed by a piece about a dodgy
(but effective) lawyer. If I wanted to watch anything about MI:3 (which
Air Con Cool, Cold, Freezing or What05 Jun 2006 11:07 GMT5
I am on my 7th car with air con but feel it is not as good as my last few
cars. It is a 2 year old Volvo S60.
In the past few days the temperature has been as high as 27 degrees and
whilst the car does get cooler and even more so if I am doing a few miles at
Gotta little problem.05 Jun 2006 10:16 GMT2
Help!
Probably the wrong place to ask, but what the heck. Most in the n/g probably
know more than I do about car audio. :-)
Thaught I'd clean a demag the heads on my Kenwood head unit.
