Can someone get points on their licence for having a brake light not

I've just been checking the DVLA site, but none of the offences refer
directly to lighting, although I suppose CU20 could be used as a catch-all?

I know lots of people on here like TG and OK, it is mildly amusing
occasionally, but if I see another 'race' between two completely unrelated
things, I'll go crazy. Where's the excitement/relevance/point in that? Its
not just a tired format, its totally worn out.
