replacement lock service23 Jul 2006 19:27 GMT1
I'm replacing a lock on an escort door and made a cock of it.
I saw on ebay a while back..some guy does a lock reset service by post.
eg.  send old and new lock and he sets the tumblers and assembles it.
I can't find it now so does anyone know of another 'by post' service?

New Corolla Verso - Front Seats23 Jul 2006 14:15 GMT4
The front passenger airbags on this car can be disabled.
After doing this, is it legal, in the UK, to have a child's seat installed
in the front passenger seat, for use by a 2 year old child?
Or is the front passenger seat for adults only?

I think that the Moskvitch was an even worse car than a Lada or a Trabant.

Swap My Civic For An Alpina B3 Cabriolet?22 Jul 2006 11:36 GMT3
What if someone you knew needed a practical cheaper vehicle because the
insurance on their B3 was silly and it wasn't a good vehicle for work
The B3 is a V-reg with less than 25K miles and as previously stated my Civic
Type-S is 53-reg with 22K on the clock. Both in excellent ...

Any taxi drivers in here?21 Jul 2006 23:36 GMT30
If so I would love to know...
Why is it you would rather piss off a street full of people by using your

Windscreen washer pump on a Mondeo.21 Jul 2006 23:06 GMT4
Where exactly is it? The tube comes off mine now and again, meaning the
bloody thing stops working. I take it to the local garage and they fix it
for free, so it must be a fairly simple job, but I don't have time to keep
taking it in. Quick Google doesn't help. tia.
Vectra - Wing Mirrors That Don't Work?21 Jul 2006 16:33 GMT1
Been driving a hire car for the last few days and I have to say that I have
yet to get the drivers wing mirror adjusted properly
No matter what I do I always end up with a nasty blindspot. What is the
point of the convex section? Or am I missing something?

previously has gone on the first day
Insurance Co's. Again.20 Jul 2006 16:35 GMT2
Last year my premium was about £210. This year the renewal is £289 !!.
My broker offered an alternative wiith another Co. Same cover for £210.
It doesn't make sense, unless the insurance Co think I'll just renew without
checking.
